Council for NGO Development and Social Empowerment Federation – a convergent platform uniting India’s development efforts – has been working tirelessly since 2011 to strengthen and empower the non-profit sector. Operating across Maharashtra and India, the federation has historically functioned through offline networks, fostering collaboration among NGOs, trusts, societies, Section 8 companies, and community organizations.
With the launch of indngo.org, all member organizations, including district, regional, and state coordinators, can now access a unified digital platform for registration, data management, and communication. This transition brings transparency, efficiency, and coordination to a network that has long championed sustainable development and social empowerment.
The federation serves as a national apex body, consolidating the voice, initiatives, and interests of its member organizations, while facilitating collaboration with government agencies, corporate partners, philanthropic foundations, and international development programs.

To establish and operate a national, state, district, and taluka-level network of NGOs and development institutions for coordinated action and sustainable impact.
To act as a central nodal authority for advocacy, policy engagement, capacity-building, and project implementation among member organizations.
To develop, implement, monitor, and scale programs in areas including:

Livelihood generation, skill development, and employment facilitation
Women and youth empowerment

To receive, manage, and distribute grants, CSR funds, and donations among member organizations for effective project execution.
